United Way of North Central Oklahoma is hosting two Day of Caring Events in 2023.  A Day of Caring is a time where community leaders get together to tackle some of the needs in our community.  The first scheduled Day of Caring is on Saturday May 13, 2023, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.  Included in the Day of Caring are a Resource Fair and Blood Drive. This part of the event will be held at City Central at 400 E. Central in Ponca City. The resource and health fair is open to the entire community at no charge. Also taking place is a food drive from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Ponca City Post Office. The second Day of Caring is planned for September 23, 2023. Plans are in process for the fall event for community leaders to get together to tackle much needed projects for area nonprofits.
